I have successfully completed the IRDAI training and passed the examination conducted by Manappuram Insurance Brokers Limited.
I will be appointed as “Point of Sales Person” for selling insurance product as per the list of products for POS provided by IRDAI.
I am aware of the remuneration which will be paid to me only on the products sold by me.
I have provided all the documents which are true to the best of my knowledge and if the company finds any document to be false then they have the sole authority to cancel my appointment as POSP without giving any reason in writing
Confidentially: I shall not divulge any confidential information to any third party nor shall I utilize any of the confidential information for any purpose other than the business of the company and / or as may be required in the ordinary course of my engagement as POSP with the company
Resignation and Termination: This contract of appointment as Point of Sales Person is terminable by either side. Notwithstanding any terms and the conditions, the company at its sole discretion may terminate my services as POSP from the services of the company
I agree that the Company will dis-engage my services in the event of me committing any misdemeanor including but not limited to fraudulent, dishonest or undisciplined conduct, breach of integrity, embezzlement / misappropriation of company property, insubordination, insolvency, conviction of any offence/ involving moral turpitude, upon loss of confidence in you by the management or for functional or behavioral incompatibility or upon my conducting myself in a manner which is regarded by the company as prejudicial to its own interest or to the interest of its clients.
I accept the liability due to any of the act mentioned in ‘7’ above and that the company will recover the loss suffered and also proceed against me legally
I am hereby confirming and informing the Company that, I am not disqualified as per Section 42 D(5)of the Insurance Act, 1938
I am also confirming that, I am not associated with or has been simultaneously engaged by any other Insurance Intermediary/Insurance Company
I am aware that all the Intellectual Property Rights in brand name, product name etc vest exclusively with the Company.
Arbitration proceedings will be initiated in case of any dispute or controversy arised out of this Agreement and such proceeding and sittings will be in the city of Thrissur, Kerala.
Force Majeure: In the event of any fire, flood, explosion, acts of God, riots, commotion or acts of government or any cause beyond the reasonable control of the company, this POSP contract may be suspended or terminated as the case may be without prior notice.
Code of Conduct: I have read the appended IRDAI Code of conduct for insurance brokers and will fully abide by all the points, to the extent applicable.
